A significant issue that many LGBTQ+ Christians face is their sense of disconnection and isolation.
Often their sexual orientation or gender identity isn’t understood, respected, or safe to share openly in their faith communities.
On the flip side, their Christian faith may not be understood, respected, or safe to share openly among their LGBTQ+ friends.
It’s lonely to be marginalized or excluded in the places where you seek belonging, especially when you’re navigating the confusion of reconciling your sexuality/gender identity with your faith, coming out to yourself, coming out to others, and wrestling with Scripture, sexual ethics, and life-defining decisions.
Generous Space Ministries is committed to cultivating a sense of community to combat isolation. We connect LGBTQ+ Christians to each other for companionship, support, and mutual discipleship. We primarily do this in two ways: through one-on-one connections and through Generous Space groups.
